5 Months to the DATE...................

it's happened again!(June 15th) Baylee had another Seizure :( I had just given her, her meds she went to lie down she then sat up. I asked her if she was ok and she said "yes". She moved around a bit with her sleeping bag wrapped around her and I asked her again if she was ok and she replied "yes". I thought she'd finally lay down but she just sat there and started staring and I knew it was happening again :( I immediately called Michael and he in turn called the Neurologist. All the time I was talking to her and holding her. Michael called for an ambulance and the Neuro was telling him to tell me to get her on her side but she had her arms clenched so hard she was as stiff as a Board! She was semi on her side anyways. The Police arrived and shortly after the ambulance. By that time she was slowly coming out of it. It lasted 10 minutes this time. While the Police was getting info from me she was ready to just go to sleep! LOL The Paramedic came in and carried her in his arms to the Ambulance I grabbed some clothes, her "baby" Cookie Monster,her BAB Tiger Kelsey and headed for the ambulance. She was taken to Winthrope Hospital which has a Pediatric ER. She was observed and given a Blood and Urine test. 4 hours later we were told her Med levels were low and we were to go see her Neuro as soon as she was released. So as soon as she was released we went to Dr Grossmanns Office. He gave her an exam and upped her Meds to 2 in the Morn (instead of just 1) in addition to the 2 at night and gave us a script for DIASTAT (which I hope we NEVER have to use!). It was a Stressful day!

Not sure how or why her Med levels were low. We were just at his office a week before and they were perfect! She had just started to give herself her Meds under our supervision, though 1 day she did it herself whilst I was in the bathroom and Michael was downstairs. We were thinking she may have thought she took it and didn't. The only other thing we can think of is she'd been crazy active the past week-Extra dance rehersals, recital, Dance classes.....maybe it just all caught up to her! BUT..she is fine now Thank GOD!!!! She got through her last recital on the 19th and Homeschooling is over! So we are looking forward to a relaxing Fun Summer!!!!!
